Depth Therapy for Adults in Santa Monica & Online Throughout California

The people I tend to work with

I support adults navigating the complexities of trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use and recovery, relationships, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are highly sensitive, introspective, and deeply feeling, those who are often those who have held space for others for a long time and are now learning to hold space for themselves.

I work well with people who are on a journey of self-inquiry, whether they are unpacking attachment wounds, healing from relational trauma and codependency, managing chronic stress and anxiety, working through intrusive thoughts or perfectionism, or rediscovering their sense of worth after difficult relationships. My clients often come to therapy in a season of change, reckoning, or awakening.

Together, we can explore the patterns that have shaped how you relate to yourself, your relationships, and the world around you, not simply to understand where they came from, but to create more choice in how you move forward. I consider it a profound honor to walk alongside my clients in this process.

I welcome people of all identities, lived experiences, and backgrounds. My practice is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s story.

What brings you to psychotherapy?

Anxiety, OCD & Depression

Anxiety and depression can affect how we think, feel, relate, and move through daily life. I work with anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, depression, perfectionism, difficulty tolerating uncertainty, intrusive thoughts, obsessive thinking, and relationship OCD (ROCD), incorporating CBT and ERP when appropriate.

Relationships & Attachment

We can explore the patterns that emerge in your relationships—how you connect, communicate, protect yourself, set boundaries, experience intimacy, and respond to closeness or disconnection. This may include attachment wounds, codependency, people-pleasing, or recurring relationship patterns that you want to understand differently.

Trauma & Self-Worth

Our past experiences can continue to shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and experience our bodies. Therapy can create space to explore relational and developmental trauma, shame, self-criticism, and beliefs about your worth while developing greater compassion and choice.

Grief & Life Transitions

Some seasons of life ask us to reconsider who we are and where we're going. I work with grief, relationship endings, identity shifts, career transitions, and other periods of uncertainty, change, and loss.

Substance Use & Recovery

I work with individuals navigating alcohol and drug use, addiction, and recovery. We can explore the emotional and relational patterns surrounding substance use while developing greater awareness, self-compassion, and sustainable ways of moving forward.

How I work

A Depth-Oriented Approach to Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an intentional and deeply human space that cultivates compassion for the parts of ourselves that are asking to be seen and understood. Through relational attunement, safety, and an integration of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, the small changes we make in the therapy room can expand into meaningful, life-affirming changes in your identity, relationships, and lived experience.

My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, drawing from several therapeutic traditions and adapting our work to your individual needs.

  • Psychodynamic & Depth-Oriented: Understanding unconscious patterns, early experiences, defenses, and the ways the past continues to shape the present.

  • Attachment & Relational: Exploring patterns of intimacy, connection, communication, and attachment.

  • Trauma-Informed & EMDR: Supporting the processing and integration of experiences that continue to affect you emotionally and physiologically.

  • Somatic & Mindfulness: Using awareness of the body and nervous system as another pathway toward understanding and regulation.

  • CBT & ERP: Using evidence-based cognitive and exposure-based approaches when working with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and OCD.

What you're moving toward

Therapy isn't about becoming a different person. It can be an opportunity to understand yourself more deeply, develop greater compassion for the parts of you that have learned to protect you, and create more choice in how you move through the world.

Over time, our work may support:

A deeper understanding of yourself
Recognizing the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you think, feel, and relate.

Greater trust in yourself
Becoming more connected to your needs, values, intuition, and boundaries.

More meaningful relationships
Developing greater capacity for intimacy, communication, vulnerability, and secure connection.

Greater emotional flexibility
Learning to stay present with difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.

A stronger sense of self
Moving beyond old definitions of who you should be and creating a life that feels more authentically your own.

More freedom in how you respond
Creating space between what you've learned to do automatically and what you actually want to choose.
