• Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our work together. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask me anything. There’s no pressure- we always move at your pace.

  • I offer virtual therapy throughout California via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, SimplePractice. If you're interested in discussing in-person sessions, feel free to contact me directly at info@therapywithsloane.com.

  • Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. If you're looking for longer sessions or a different format, we can discuss what might best support your needs.

  • My standard rate is $200 for individuals and $250 for couples/families. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. Please feel free to reach out if cost is a concern. because accessibility matters to me.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a monthly superbill (receipt) for you to submit to your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits. I’m happy to guide you through this process if needed.

  • Most clients find that meeting weekly provides the consistency needed for meaningful progress. That said, we’ll decide together what frequency feels right for you based on your goals, needs, and availability.

  • You can reach out via the contact form or email me at info@therapywithsloane.com to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to see if we’re a good fit before beginning ongoing work.

  • I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee.
